The 1st birthday party was a huge success, the Civic Arts Centre was packed out!  Thanks to everyone who came along.  The drama was lots of fun and the actors did a great job.  Cherie presented the One Planet cookbook which was available to buy for the first time, it looks brilliant and there are so many exciting recipes inside.  Carol Martin unveiled the felt banner in all its technicolour glory, it’s amazing and we can’t wait to display it in the shop.  Rosie Fenwick brought along a selection of the items people made on the craft workshops, and the lanterns and mosaic mirrors were really impressive.

We also got to see the premiere of Huckleberry Films’ Making it Local video – which is fantastic!  View the video via the link in the post above.

There was a selection of home baked birthday cakes, all of which were gone by the end of the event.

We had a stall too, and lots of people stocked up on their Christmas gifts.
